This oboe reeds are crafted using high-grade, high-quality silk thread from Kyoto, also used in traditional kimono fabrics. The use of silk thread provides a smooth playing experience, yielding a soft tone and reducing fatigue on the lips. These reeds offer exceptionally easy playability and are comfortable to use, with a light blowing sensation that minimizes fatigue.

This reed is highly recommended for those who find difficulty with the lower pitch of the second octave key of the oboe, or struggle with long tones in this range.

Using the Pisoni tube significantly stabilizes the pitch in this range. Generally, this range tends to drop suddenly in pitch due to staple effects, especially with staple like ,Chiarugi 、Rigotti, Loree, and　 Guercio .However, the Pisoni staple helps stabilize and improve the pitch in this troublesome range by ensuring the aperture at the tip of the reed is not overly widened, a characteristic feature of our shop.

Transitioning smoothly from high G to low A on the second octave key of the oboe is natural with this reed. With other tubes, A tends to drop sharply, requiring more pressure on the reed. The Pisoni tube allows for stability with less effort.

**We use silk thread that enhances a softer tone and playing experience.**
Currently, silk thread color cannot be selected. The color of the completed reed sent to you may differ from the photo (black, blue, or purple), with blue being most common.

We use very soft cane, making it less tiring on the lips and allowing for extended playing time.

Total length is approximately 69 mm.
Due to the soft cane, the pitch tends to be lower. Therefore, the total length is kept shorter.

The thread used is high-grade, high-quality silk thread from Kyoto, Japan, also used in KIMONO. Compared to nylon thread, it provides a warmer, gentler, and more mellow tone. It also reduces fatigue on the lips.
